SARRI: "WE'LL PUSH TO GIVE OUR BEST"
Juventus' coach Maurizio Sarri spoke in his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's match against Sampdoria.
"Juventus conveys the impression of a strong club with a winning mentality. We have to push to give our best. I need to evaluate the conditions to understand how to play tomorrow. It is essential to defend high and regain the ball in the high areas of the field.”
On the team: “Szczesny will probably not play as he is still not ready. We are evaluating him day by day. Rabiot is someone who is improving and who needs to play. At this stage of the season, we are asking Blaise Matuidi to sacrifice. He spends a lot of time on the pitch for us. Regardless of the this, this module is draining for midfielders. It's hard to sustain this for 90 minutes.”
On tomorrow's match: “It will be a difficult match. They are recovering and have the enthusiasm resulting from the derby win. Ranieri’s team are always hard to deal with. A high-level performance is what is needed.”
