LI YONGHONG: "THANK YOU BERLUSCONI, FORZA MILAN!"
Friday 14 April. This day marks a historic day for the Red and black world with the beginning of a new ownership Li Yonghong's era started at 11 am CEST with the press conference that was held at Casa Milan. And the new President was the first to speak about his first emotions and thanking Silvio Berlusconi and the former management who made the history of AC Milan.
"For all the AC Milan fans, this is an important day. We start a new chapter. I want to thank Silvio Berlusconi and Fininvest for the trust they always had in us. AC Milan is a top club in the world with 118 years of great history. Over the past 30 years, AC Milan have won many trophies and has had legendary players. The fans are expecting the Club makes it back among the top European clubs. We feel we have a great responsibility towards all our fans who are shouting: "Forza Milan". We want our team of professionals to focus on their own branch, Fassone will develop the work of the future of AC Milan: he will be our CEO. With his lead AC Milan's management will always improve, we have to be competitive throughout the world, all the fans have to love AC Milan!".
