A NIGHT OF CELEBRATION AT JUVENTUS STADIUM
Four years ago on 8 September 2011, a new era began as the Juventus found a new home.
In what promises to be a unique occasion for all members of the Juve family, the Legends of two of the world’s most prestigious clubs, Juventus and Boca Juniors meet for the second edition of the UNESCO Cup.
To read the squad list of the Juventus Legends side is to take a walk through Bianconeri history. Starting from the back, goalkeepers Angelo Peruzzi and Stefano Tacconi will team up once more with Ciro Ferrara, Mark Iuliano, Paolo Montero, Alessandro Birindelli, Zoran Mirkovic and Moreno Torricelli, all appearing in their second UNESCO Cup. Further forward, also making consecutive UNESCO bows are the likes of Mauro Camoranesi, Edgar Davids and Pavel Nedved. This legendary trio of Juve midfielders will be looking to supply plenty of ammunition to a strikeforce of Fabrizio Ravanelli, Nicola Amorouso and Salvatore Schillaci.
Among the forward ranks will also be Juventus Legends president and ambassador, David Trezeguet, who represented the club in Africa alongside UNESCO last June.
