ZAPATA: "I'LL BE BACK SOON"
Cristian Zapata has been out for 3 months now. An injury to his ankle has deprived Montella of the Colombian defender. The problem is now in the past, and Cristian is raring to be back in the fold. These were his words to Milan TV.
BACK IN THE FOLD
"I am very happy I managed to train with my teammates even if only for a part of the session. I have been out for three months, and being back on the training ground is really something I missed a lot".
PHYSICAL CONDITION
"I'm feeling fine and building up to be ready as soon as possible. It was a bad injury".
THE MANAGER
"Montella is always asking for updates on my condition, and this pleases me a lot".
THE TEAM
"We are a great group, we had a few down moments but we fought back".
THE TEAM'S STYLE OF PLAY
"My teammates always speak very highly of Montella and his style of play. You can see the team wants to play good football. Our main goal is to find more consitency during the matches".
STARTING XI
"The boss knows than when I'll be ready he can count on me. I will show him I can make it in the starting XI".
THE DEFENCE
"There have been two or three matches where we kept a clean sheet, while the game against Sassuolo we conceded too much. But we are doing well".
THE RENEWAL OF THE CONTRACT
"I am very happy because both the Club and I wanted to renew the contract and that's what we did. I am really pleased to be here and I hope this can be a great season for all of us here with AC Milan".

"I think he has shown he is a great striker. Each time he shoots he finds the net. I am happy for him and for the team".
