THIAGO MOTTA: “TEAMWORK AND A DESERVED VICTORY”
These are the words of coach Thiago Motta at the end of Venezia-Spezia, a match that ended with the result of 1-2 in favor of the Aquile thanks to the goals of Bastoni and Bourabia: "It was a balanced match, it was an important day both for us and for Venezia, but in the end, we managed to bring home the three points and we are very satisfied.
The choice of the formation and the roles of the players are choices studied and pondered during the week, but always trying to make the boys comfortable and at ease, I'm always very open to talk and discuss with them to try to find the best solutions.
Juventus and Milan? We're aware of the difficulties, but we'll prepare as always: match by match. Today we focused on the challenge against Venezia and we earned the three points, from tomorrow we'll focus on Juve.
What I saw today was the guys' desire to win and their determination. I saw a lot of good tactical situations, but we can still improve a lot. We must work hard but we are all ready and willing to do it.
I have to thank the players because they are really working hard, they are physically good and they have the will to win and today they made a very good performance. As a coach it's a huge satisfaction to see your players working and cheering together: they played like a real team for the whole 90 minutes and they deserved a victory they fought for. We must continue like this, and more satisfaction will come".
