SSC Napoli Charity Project

Following the Charity Food for Napoli project, which distributed over 50 tonnes of food to families in need as a result of the COVID-19 emergency, SSC Napoli is to continue its solidarity work with the SSC Napoli Charity Project.

The initiative is already underway, with the first two auctions set to conclude in the coming days. Currently up for grabs are two of the balls used in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Inter, signed by all the Napoli players. The successful bidders will be sent an SSC Napoli certificate guaranteeing the authenticity of the balls.

All proceeds from the auctions will be donated to two non-profit associations:

Friends of Peter Pan Social Promotion Association: The Friends of Peter Pan Social Promotion Association aims to promote a culture of active youth citizenship and to support people who are disadvantaged or at risk of social exclusion. In addition to providing basic assistance, the association works to strengthen the personal skills of young people in order to empower them and strives to set up new services aimed at young people and designed to combat educational poverty. The association is based in Naples, the Italian city with the youngest average age, where it works with hundreds of young people.

Mawaki Malaika: Mawaki Malaika works to help people of all nationalities, wherever they are, who are needy or disadvantaged or suffering from physical, psychological, economic, social or family problems. The association’s main areas of operation are social assistance, medical services and international cooperation.

SSC Napoli has chosen to team up with the world’s biggest auction provider, eBay, because they share the club’s belief that these initiatives should ensure as much profit as is possible finds its way to the beneficiaries. The eBay Charity initiative will allow SSC Napoli to donate 100% of proceeds to non-profit organisations, with zero administrative costs.
