SPEZIA: OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF RECA AND KOVALENKO
First day of presentations at Spezia Calcio after the end of the market, with Arkadiusz Reca and Viktor Kovalenko who spoke to the press.
The first to speak was the defender with the number 13, Reca: "I came to Spezia to help the team and I hope we can face the championship in the best way, we are a good group, the team is ready and we are at coach’s disposal.
The decision to change the team was a very delicate one because I'm 26, I had other offers and I talked with my family and my agent to understand what was best for me. Today I'm here and I'm happy, I'm sure I made the right choice.
I'm sure that despite the young age of the group we will be a very good team, our strength will be to be cohesive and to always play like one. The coach is a good person and an excellent trainer, and I'm sure that under his guidance we will have a good season.
Which of my teammates has surprised me the most? I don't want to name names but they are more than one, they are excellent players who I am sure will contribute to the positive trend of the team".
The Ukrainian midfielder class '96, Kovalenko, continued: "Compared to the Ukrainian championship here is more difficult, every match is a battle, I am sure it will be an experience that will enrich me a lot.
What difficulties will we face? Surely in the first days we'll have to know each other better, but I am sure that after the initial period we will be able to give our best as a team.
I have always had a lot of respect for Thiago Motta as a player, we even faced each other in the Champions League, and now that he is my coach I respect him even more; he wants a propositional football, has clear ideas, and encourages everyone to give their best: I am sure that we will do very well with him".
