SPALLETTI PLEASED WITH VICTORY OVER BOLOGNA

Luciano Spalletti was satisifed with the manner of his side's performance as Napoli made it a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Bologna on Monday evening.

"We’re capable of the playing clean, tidy football like that," the coach declared. "We’re not the sort of team that can play on the defensive for long spells. We want to impose our game on the opposition. We did that well tonight and we were deserved winners. We made the ball ours and moved it around well in an orderly fashion. It was a good all-round performance.

Commenting then on the team's targets for the season, he continued: "Unfortunately we’ve dropped some points that will be hard to make up again. We’ve also had to make do without a lot of players but that doesn’t mean we can’t have our say

"We’re playing for an entire city, to make our fans happy. Individual stats and achievements don’t mean much if you can’t share the joy with others.

"From a professional point of view, these players are impeccable. We’ve got most people back now and we want to push on from here. Our target is to finish in the top four.”
