SARRI: "AN IMPORTANT VICTORY"
After Juventus-Inter 2-0, the Bianconeri coach Maurizio Sarri spoke of his satisfaction: “An important victory, even if there are still many matches to play. The path is still long, but good quality was seen tonight. In our last game there was a lack of nervous energy: those who were better (physically) took to the field.”
The result was a victory constructed in the second half: “They dropped, having played very high in the first half. We have grown, and the goal changed our inactivity: I am also very satisfied with the fact that we gave very little to a dangerous team like Inter.”
“Starting with Cuadrado high up would have left us without a more defensive solution: that's why we started with Douglas in that position", added the Coach. “And then, it was a good thing to be able to play the Dybala card, because when Paulo enters onto the field, he is devastating. Higuain? He sacrificed a lot, and did a great defensive job.”
