SAMPDORIA RESUME TRAINING WITHOUT 11 INTERNATIONALS, EKDAL PRESENT IN BOGLIASCO
Sampdoria were back to work for a double session yesterday, with the squad depleted by the absence of the 11 players away on international duty (Joachim Andersen, Emil Audero, Vid Belec, Bartosz Bereszynski, Gianluca Caprari, Jakub Jankto, Dawid Kownacki, Karol Linetty, Dennis Praet, Lorenzo Tonelli and Ronaldo Vieira).
Albin Ekdal was there too, having stayed in Genoa to be close to his wife and new-born daughter.
After a warm-up, the Blucerchiati focused on fitness and possession before rounding things off with some practice games. Youth players Yassin Ejjaki and Matteo Raspa joined in with the first team.
Riccardo Saponara was fit to take full part in training, while Vasco Regini was away continuing his recovery in Domodossola with Dr Umberto Borino.
The squad will have another double session Today.
