SAMPDORIA: AFTERNOON TRAINING ON FRIDAY
Marco Giampaolo split the Sampdoria squad into two groups for training in Bogliasco on Thursday, with one group working out in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The groups continued preparing for the Derby della Lanterna with video-analysis sessions and drills focusing on both technique and tactics, with youngsters from the Primavera joining in.
Lorenzo Tonelli had a planned individual session, while Vasco Regini continued to work on his recovery from injury. Edgar Barreto received treatment and saw the physiotherapist, in addition to recovery work.
Samp will train again on Friday afternoon.
