ROMA: TOTTI TO SALUTE CROWD AHEAD OF REAL MADRID TIE
Prior to the Champions League game between Roma and Real Madrid, which takes place on Tuesday November 27, the Giallorossi legend Francesco Totti will be presented to the crowd; speaking directly to the club supporters for the first time since he retired from the game on 28 May 2017.
The day after his retirement Totti, now a club director, was officially inducted into the AS Roma Hall of Fame as the sole member of the Class of 2017.
Before the Real Madrid the 42-year-old will take to the pitch before players from both sides warm-up, in order to receive the special club shirt that is given to all Hall of Fame members.
The club’s all-time leading appearance-maker and goalscorer, Totti was the first player ever to be voted directly into the Hall of Fame by the club following his retirement - becoming the 28th overall member since the Hall of Fame was introduced in 2012.
