ROMA: GERSON WILL WEAR THE NUMBER 30 SHIRT
AS Roma can confirm that Gerson Santos da Silva will wear No.30 in his first season at the club.
The Brazilian has opted to stick with the same number he had at Fluminense, where he made 56 appearances across the state league, nationwide Serie A and Primeira Liga in 2015 and 2016 scoring seven goals. Only with the Brazil U20 team has he worn different numbers – 18 and 21.
Gerson is the Giallorossi's first summer signing, following the completion of permanent deals for on-loan players Antonio Rudiger, Stephan El Shaarawy, Norbert Gyomber, Nura and Sadiq Umar in recent weeks.
