PRIMAVERA 1 TIM PLAYOFFS: TORINO-FIORENTINA

The Playoffs of the Primavera 1 TIM 2018/2019 Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti will start today. At 18.30 CEST Torino will face Fiorentina at Ricci stadium of Sassuolo. The winner of this match will face Atalanta on Monday 10 June at Tardini stadium of Parma at 20:45 CEST.

Torino ranked fourth in the first phase of the tournament. The Granata ended the regular season at 51 points, the result of 15 victories (including eight away), 6 draws and 9 defeats. The goals scored were 67, while those conceded 44.

Fiorentina ranked fifth in the first phase of the tournament. The Viola ended the regular season at 50 points, the result of 14 victories (including eight away), 8 draws and 8 defeats. The goals scored were 48, while those conceded 39.

It will not be a new challenge, given that the two teams this year have already faced each other four times: in the Championship, the Granata won the first leg match 4-1, while the Viola won 2-1 in the second leg; in the Primavera TIM Cup Final Fiorentina overcame Torino 2-0 in the first leg and 2-1 in the second leg.
