POLI: "WE ARE WORKING HARD FOR THE DERBY"
Andrea Poli was a special guest at Milan TV and touched on several topics ahead of Sunday night's derby. These were his words.
THE DERBY ATMOSPHERE
"We are working well. The match is very important for us and for our fans. Playing games like this is always exciting".
THE MATCH
"These sort of matches prepare themselves, it will be a long wait. It will be another important test after having won against Juve. We will face a team who are not living a great moment, and who are looking to get back on the right track, but we are ready and are working hard to play a great match".
DIFFERENT DERBIES
"The Derby of Milan has more media coverage than the one in Genoa. Samp-Genoa is the most important game of the season, for the fans and the players".
ITALIANS
"AC Milan has always had an Italian backbone, and we are trying to recreate it. We are young and we are red and black fans: this is surely a plus".
GROUP
"After many years I see a great group, everybody rowing in the same direction with great desire to do well. We are young, and we can make some mistakes, that's what we have to work on".
100 APPEARANCES IN RED AND BLACK
"It was a great moment. Reaching the 100 appearances in three years makes me very proud, especially if you play with the team you have always supported since you were a kid".

"There are lots: from my debut in Champions League against PSV, to my first goal with AC Milan".

THE DEFEAT AGAINST GENOA
"It was a bump in the road, and we were not lucky. Even when we were down to 10 men we had a few chances to score and level it. Moreover, the team managed to keep the game open until 5 minutes from the final whistle. We must always be cool headed".
PALERMO-MILAN
"We took the pitch with the right attitude, not only I did, but also Pasalic and Lapadula. We always must give everything we've got".
