NICOLA'S PRESS CONFERENCE
Genoa's coach Davide Nicola spoke in his pre-match press conference on the eve of the match against Torino in Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia 2019/2020.
“We are talking about a different competition from the championship but the motivation must remain the same. We haven’t reached the quarter finals of the Coppa Italia for 28 years, we want to give ourselves a little present. We need to focus on individual and team performances. We’ll see who can play two games in four days.”
About Torino: “They are a team with ten points more than us in the league and with players who can decide games alone. They are a very physical side, who attack down the wings. They are very aggressive and are playing at home, so we know that we find ourselves facing a tough opponent.”
