NAPOLI CONTINUES VENEZIA PREPARATIONS
Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli squad returned to the SSC Napoli Konami Training Centre on Wednesday morning to continue preparing for the visit of Venezia this weekend.
The Serie A Week 1 clash with Venezia kicks off at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona at 20:45 CEST on Sunday 22 August.
The squad kicked things off with an initial warm-up, followed by a minimatch using small goals. The players then split off into groups, with one working on strength while the other focused on tactics.
Lorenzo Insigne trained with the group for the whole session, while Dries Mertens had an individual session outside. Faouzi Ghoulam also trained separately, but joined in with the rest of the squad for the tactics session.
