MONTELLA: "WE MUST NOT LOSE ENTHUSIASM"
It's a disappointed Montella the one that arrives in front of the journalists after the defeat against Udinese for the usual post match press conference. This is what he said.
THE MATCH
"We could have and should have done more. We knew how hard this match was. We played well in the first half but I am not happy with the second. We didn't have the right mentality to win the game. Today's defeat ia step backwards compared to the matches against Torino and Napoli but we are still working and some false steps can happen".
WHAT WENT WRONG
"Niang could not play therefore we had less options in the one-on-one. It's not a matter of players, we have the resources to play better than today. Honda? I asked him to try and dribble past the opponents and I must say he played well".
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE FIRST HALF AND THE SECOND
