MONTELLA: "THE BEST MILAN SO FAR"

Milan TV interviewed a very satisfied Vincenzo Montella in the post-match. The manager was happy with the performance but obviously disappointed on the result that saw Milan lose against Antonio Conte's Chelsea who found the winning goals only in the last 20 minutes of the game.

HIS THOUGHTS ON THE GAME:
"I think it was a very tight match for 70 minutes, the best game we have played so far in this pre-season, against a first-class team that in the second half brought in their top players Hazard, Ivanovic, Oscar and Kanté. We lost our organization in the last 20 minutes of the match. We are disappointed on the result, but also satisfied because we are improving".

WE CREATED MORE SCORING OPPORTUNITIES;
"We are working on our game-play. It is normal that among all the players one will stand out to make the difference. This is what we need to improve, but as of today I am very happy for the amount of scoring opportunities we had".

SUSO:
"He is fit, in a good physical condition. He is a quality player but must be more determined".

NIANG:
"He must improve because we need him to score more goals. But age is still on his side".

CURRENT SITUATION:
"The team is working well and we have made a lot of progress. Now we are going back home to Italy, we will relax a bit and concentrate on the next efforts".
