The smile on his face. Happiness for having won the first match of the season. This is coach Montella speaking to Milan TV, proud and happy for tonight's result. These are his words after the game against Torino.
THRILLING END
"This is why football is such a great sport. I am very happy for the result. We deserved to win and I must say well done to the boys. I would have said the same if we hadn't won. We gave our best but the last 20 minutes we didn't have any more energies to spend, though for 70 minutes we played very well. The team created a lot of chances against a well organised Torino, so once more, well done to the boys".
THE FANS
"This win gives us more confidence and it was great to see the fans so happy. I am sure that together we will go far. I am proud of the boys because they gave their best and also the fans appreciated this. I am even more happy because the fans, mostly, decided to cheer for us during the warm up and the game. They will be, once more, our added value".
THE MATCH
"I am very satisfied. Especially for the first 70' because we played very well, with continuity. We created a lot of chances. During the week we trained a lot on the offensive phase because we have to find the right moves. Today we had a good ball possession. We must start from here even though we must improve phisically and mentally, there's still a lot to work on".
WORK
"We must continue to put on the pitch what we do in training. Sometimes you have to take some risks, but when you know you have the qualities to do well it becomes easier".
BACCA
"Bacca made himself available to the rest of the team. The boys are working to enhance his qualities and we are very happy for his hat trick".
BERTOLACCI
"I still do not know how bad is his injury. It doesn't seem muscular. We will find out more tomorrow".

"He called me and he congratulated for the win. We are always in touch and also this week he proved how close he is to AC Milan".
