MONTELLA: "DESERVED WIN"
A smiling and satisfied Vincenzo Montella commented on the victory against Palermo.
THE MATCH
"We played a fine game. Occasionally we showed good football. After they levelled it we created a lot of opportunities and we managed to find the goal only in the final minutes. We deserved this win. There are of course somethings we have to improve on, but this is normal".
BACCA
"Bacca is doing his best, like everyone else in the squad. What really makes me proud is how the team is playing, this is really positive".
ATTITUDE
"In the first part of the match we played wit the right attitude, with great conviction and good ball possession, the goal came as a consequence. After we took the lead we allowed Palermo to believe more in themselves, they went on the attack and somehow it was our fault. Their goal was in the air, even though they didn't have lots of chances to score. Though, the most important thing of the day was the team's reaction, playing with the right mentality which is what you need to win these matches".
