MONTELLA: "AGAINST CHIEVO IT WON'T BE EASY"

On the eve of the match, coach Montella presented the meeting vs Chievo speaking to Milan TV and at the regular press conference at Milanello.

CHIEVO
"We are focused on tomorrow night's match, against a very experienced team which doesn't let you play well, but we'll have to do our best to win it. They can change style of play during the match, playing with either one or two attacking midfielders. It's going to be a tough match".

INJURED PLAYERS
"I haven't spoken to him in a couple of days. I want to say that he played the last minutes of the game against Sassuolo not seeing from an eye and this shows the spirit this team has. Montolivo? He's improving and so is Antonelli. Romagnoli is fit to play. Yesterday he resumed full training, therefore he can make it into the squad for Chievo. I still haven't decided whether I'll field him from the beginning".

STARTING XI
"Sosa and Locatelli together in the starting XI? We're working on it. Calabria yesterday had a fever, today we'll see how he's feeling. We have worked on different solutions for tomorrow's game".

LEAGUE TABLE
"The defeats against Udinese and Sampdoria slowed us down and affected our league position. The team has always performed with consistency, always fighting for the three points. I think the worse is over. Our direct rivals? We'll all fight until the last match and also Fiorentina could bounce back. Probably the first three teams will be the same, although this round will be crucial. We can definitely make it into Europe, it's all in our hands".

BACCA
"I think the penalty scored against Sassuolo can be a watershed for him. He was lucky and this could help him get over this period".

LOCATELLI
"He's training well. He had a bit of a downer but this can happen to all youngsters. I'm sure he'll bounce back".

THE FANS
"They are always backing us and I am sure that tomorrow they will be at the stadium to cheer on the boys".

THE CLUB
"I have to concentrate on coaching the players. The management is working very well, that's why both the team and I are really serene. My only goal is to do my best for AC Milan. What I want to underline is how proud I am to work with these boys".

MAIORINO
"I wish him a happy birthday and I want to tell him that should we win tomorrow, it's his turn to take us all out to dinner (he laughs, ed.)".

CONTRACT EXTENSION
"It's not a problem. I am happy to be here".
