MILAN, PIĄTEK: "THE COACH WANTS QUICK FOOTBALL"
Follow double training today, Krzysztof Piątek spoke to Milan TV. He discussed summer pre-season under Marco Giampaolo, the objectives for the season, the no.9 shirt and Benfica ahead of the next match in the ICC: “Let's hope to play a great game.” He also had a message for the fans, both the Poles who have shown him so much love in Kansas City and the Rossoneri supporters who have been signing the famous chant that follows each of his goals.
“The No 9 is an important number for a striker. All the best strikers wear it - Lewandowski, Suarez, Benzema, Kane. I’m happy because the club believed in my quality. They told me I’d conquer the shirt, while I said I would’ve fought with all my strength to get it and I did. I don’t believe in superstition or this curse. For me, the No 9 is normal. Everything will be fine like with the No 19. It doesn’t scare me."
