MIHAJLOVIC: "WE NEED HEART AND DETERMINATION"
Sinisa Mihajlovic was joined by Nigel De Jong and club captain Riccardo Montolivo ahead of the match against Chievo Verona.
"There are no easy games in Italy, Chievo are a really tough team and they battle hard. We have to be ready and have the right attitude. We are playing at home and it is an opportunity to build confidence, it ia fundamental game. I don't want to concede a goal against Chievo, lady luck is not on our side and that also has to turn in our favour. The players felt more pressure 10 against 11 against Sassuolo but the lads played well and in the end we were awarded. Now the team is defending better compared to the start of the season and although we are still conceding goals we are conceding less chances than before. Tomorrow we have to win because if we suffer now then the season will only get easier, we have to win with heart and determination before tactics and technique".
"Napoli have a lot of attacking potential, we don't have Menez and Niang at the moment, then there is the injury to Balotelli so we don't have a lot of choice at the moment. It is nice to be able to choose but I have to make logical choices when deciding on the formation and set-up. Our way of playing in the future will be 4-4-2 when we have everyone back from injury. I don't know who will play between Donnarumma and Diego Lopez. I don't choose the players based on their age but based on their ability. What I wanted to see from Donnarumma was his reaction and I was satisfied with his personality. Diego Lopez's performance in turin is not the issue, whoever is in better shape plays. They are both reliable goalkeepers."
