MIHAJLOVIC SEEKS IMPROVEMENTS

This is what Sinisa Mihajlovic said following the rossoneri’s 3-2 win at the Stadio Friuli against Udinese on Tuesday night:

"Perhaps it would have been better to go into the half-time interval a goal up rather than three. In those situations you can’t stop playing and we should have tried to at least score one more goal. However, this is part of our growth process as a team. In the past few years, these players have been through some tough times and so we have to deal better with the anxiety and the fear. Udinese went into the match on the back of a series of defeats, but it was not easy and I congratulate Udinese on their performance. If they continue to play like that, they will have a good season".

"I was angry because we cannot go and complicate matters in a match that was seemingly won. It brought to mind the match against Liverpool in the Champions League, but I was luckier than Carlo Ancelotti this time. From time to time, it wouldn’t be bad if we won 1-0… Balotelli has to keep this up and keep conducting himself like he is doing. He is on the receiving end of fouls from opponents because he is a strong player. The main thing is that he remains sharp and doesn’t think about reacting."
