MIHAJLOVIC: "A WIN THAT WILL GIVE US CONFIDENCE"
Bologna's coach, Sinisa Mihajlovic spoke in the post-match press conference after the 1-0 win against Inter.
“I’d like to thank my team because they tried to put all that we had tried out during the week into practice. After an excellent first half, our performance levels dropped slightly. This can be put down to Inter’s reaction in addition to us starting to struggle physically. It’ll take a few weeks for us to reach optimum physical levels. There’s still a long way to go this league season. Therefore, even though we’ll enjoy this success, we know that it’s necessary to gain some consistency when we play Genoa next Sunday. These three points will give us confidence, but the road ahead remains long. Bologna must always take to the pitch looking to win and not simply try to avoid defeat.”
