MAZZARRI'S PRESS CONFERENCE
The Granata's coach Walter Mazzarri spoke in the pre-match press conference on the eve of Torino vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers, first leg of the 2019/2020 UEFA Europa League Playoff.
“I’m convinced Toro’s spirit will come out. I want a team who never give up, who always stick together. Regardless of how it goes, these six games will help the development of our players and squad. All of this will certainly be positive for the growth of our squad, including the negatives. That’s already the case. We’d be disappointed if we went out, but we’d have to be like Atalanta: they were disappointed about going out and there was a psychological backlash, but then they finished fourth. It’s clear that you can react to going out in so many ways. We’ll certainly have the strength to react, get back on track and have a great campaign as it’s in our locker. We’ll also try to go all the way in the Coppa Italia.”
