JUVENTUS COACH CALLED FOR GREATER RUTHLESSNESS

With the Bianconeri having secured their place in the last 16 in this season’s Champions League, Massimiliano Allegri drew focus to areas where his side can improve.

“We made a few too many mistakes and that meant leaving the game in the balance," he said after the game. "It’s just as well [Wojciech] Szczesny was on hand to produce a great save, as he did at the end of the first half.

“We made a few too many errors, not only in our passing but also our decision-making. This is something we really need to work on. We need to keep improving our condition and think things through more clearly,” he continued.

“As for Paulo Dybala, he just needs to stay calm – you can have moments like this, as happened last year.”
Commenting on yesterday's clash, the boss concluded: “We need better understanding of the different periods in a game. We must try not to come under too much pressure and realise that when you have the chance to kill the game off you need to do so.”
