JOSE' MAURI AT EASE IN MILAN

In the most recent issue of Forza Milan! Josè Mauri opened up on his first season with the Rossoneri.

He touched on a variety of topics, such as youth: "I don’t think that there is not much space for young players in Italy. It’s more a case of the young players finding faith in themselves. I have always seen, all the way through the ranks, coaches willing to give youth a chance. My idols? Seeing a player like Gattuso in action is exhilarating, even if you’re not a Milan fan. As a boy I admired Mascherano, even if I support Boca and he played for River. However, my true idols, other than my brother, as a Boca fan, Riquelme, for Milan, Van Basten."

As for next season: "Next campaign I hope to play more. I think that this season there was a high level of tension at the club for how the last few years had gone. I feel more Argentine than Italian. You can find yourself at ease in various places. Just as I found myself at ease at Parma, it is likewise for me in Milan. However, I don’t think anyone can belong to another place than their home. I have a tattoo of the road where my home is."
