INZAGHI'S PRESS CONFERENCE
Lazio's coach Simone Inzaghi spoke in his post-match press conference following the 2-1 away win against Cagliari.
“I think it was a strong performance, because it was not easy for us to react after going behind to a great Simeone goal, which came from a throw-in. We spread the play wider in the second half, put lots of crosses in and I feel it was a deserved victory in the end. The substitutes were decisive. I have to tip my hat to Cagliari, they are very organised, play with pace and I feel they will be very difficult to beat. If you get eight wins in a row in this current Serie A TIM campaign, you need quality, organisation, effort, soul and also cool heads. I am fortunate to have players who train really hard and today the three substitutes made the difference.”
