INZAGHI: "THERE IS SOME REGRET FOR THE RESULT"
Lazio's coach Simone Inzaghi spoke in his post-match press conference following the 0-0 draw against Hellas Verona.
“I congratulated the team, because we worked so hard against a very organised, physical side that played with great intensity. We had 27 shots on goal, deserved to win, but the bit of luck didn’t go our way.
“Despite the fact it ended 0-0 with some regret for the result, I think our fans enjoyed themselves. We stayed sharp, hit the upright twice and I objectively could not have asked for any more from the lads.
“Now we have four days to organise another very important match against Parma on Sunday. Our fans also cheered us on from the first to the last minute on a cold Wednesday night. Results count, but so do performances, and these lads gave everything.”
