INZAGHI POST MATCH REACTIONS
The Biancocelesti coach Simone Inzaghi spoke in his post-match press conference following Milan – Lazio 1-2.
“We won an important game, I think deservedly, against a side that in my view had a good performance, but Lazio played very well and did everything to win. It’s a little premature after 11 games to talk about the table, but we are getting some consistency in terms of performances and results. It was very important for us to follow the recent two victories, to respect a Milan side that had won on Thursday and I feel we did that. It wasn’t easy after the equaliser, but we wanted to break this 30-year taboo, especially as we won here last season in the Coppa Italia semi-final."
