INZAGHI: "I'M PLEASED FOR THE LADS, NOW WE MUST FOCUS ON EMPOLI"
Bologna's coach Filippo Inzaghi spoke after the 3-0 win in the Coppa Italia 4th Round against Crotone. The Rossoblu advance to the Round of 16. On January 13th they will play against Juventus.
“We played with a lot of desire and have to continue on the same path we took today: we wanted to get through at all costs and now we will play a prestigious team in the form of Juventus. I’m particularly pleased with the spirit the lads showed out there on the pitch. Now we have to focus on the league: the match against Empoli is a big game and I hope we’re able to put in a big performance. Working here gives me great pleasure, and I can feel a lot of support and affection. My biggest concern is repaying this affection. I had to substitute Santander as a precaution because he suffered a knock, and I hope it’s nothing serious. Orsolini continues to demonstrate his qualities, and I’m also happy for Falcinelli today because he deserved to score after all the hard work he has put in at the beginning of the season. As regards Sunday, I hope our fans travel in numbers for our match against Empoli. Up until now they’ve been a source of strength for us, and we always need them behind us. We hope we can make them happy on Sunday.”
