INSIGNE RULED OUT OF TRAINING SESSIONS THROUGH KNEE PROBLEMS
All Azzurri players, with the exception of Lorenzo Insigne, took part in today’s training session. Head of the medical staff, Prof. Castellacci, explained the reasons for Insigne’s absence: “It’s nothing serious; Insigne has suffered some knocks to his right knee, which still had some liquid in it. We removed this liquid today, with the agreement of his club Napoli.” The preparations ahead of the upcoming European Championship qualifiers will continue in Coverciano tomorrow, whilst the departure for Baku is scheduled for Thursday.
