GATTUSO: "WE'RE MOTIVATED AND WANT TO WIN"
Milan will face Real Betis in the third matchday of the Europa League group phase (Group F) of on Thursday 25th, by 6.55pm. This is a delicate match, ready to be presented by Coach Gattuso in the press conference at Milanello on the eve of the match.
"It won't be an easy game, it's a tricky one, this is a team that makes you run and chase. I will field the best XI possible starting those who are in the better form. They move the ball around playing a possession game. They don't score that much because they don't verticalize a lot, still, they are a quality team. Betis play three at the back but while defending it becomes a 5-man defence".
THE TEAM
"We have to move forward. The defeat in the derby still burns, we prepared the game to win. I was pleased with the team's character and personality, less with the quality of the game, we lacked courage".
About the defeat in the derby Gatttuso said: "The players must always give 100 percent for the Club and the team, my job is to take the best out of them. I am a young coach, I have my ups-and-downs but I strongly believe in my work. Inter didn't create many chances, they were dangerous from set pieces, but overall we didn't concede that much. We didn't play at our best: had the game ended in a draw the conversation we would be having would be different. It's not a matter of being more or less physical, we didn't play our best game".
