GATTUSO: "I AM PLEASED WITH OUR PERFORMANCE"

Following the 1-1 draw between Roma and AC Milan at the Olimpico, the Rossoneri's coach Gennaro Gattuso spoke in the post-match press conference: "We didn't play our best football during the first half, however, this was also due to the quality of Roma's players. We were better after the interval. Today, we played against a team in difficulty, but I am pleased with our performance because Roma have many top players."

Coach Gattuso spoke about Suso: "He hasn't be training consistently. This is his second match since we've been back, so he is lacking a bit of rhythm. In the first half, we didn't play to his strengths, particularly considering he was being marked by Kolarov. He struggled on a physical level."

About Musacchio he said: "He's a really important player for me. He imposes himself and he does well when he receives the ball. I'm pleased with his performances. I've always had important words for him."

Then the Rossoneri's coach praised the performance of the Giallorossi's captain Daniele De Rossi: "He's not young anymore, but it would be great to have more players like him. He was everywhere, playing with the usual character. He can still give a lot."

Finally Gattuso spoke about Zaniolo: "He reminds me of an early Totti. The thing that impresses me most is the strength that he has in his legs. He combines this strength with great quality. He runs a lot, it's really interesting. He must keep working like this because in modern football there are multiple factors that make you an important player. Obviously, it a good thing for Italian football."
