GATTUSO: "GOOD RESULT, NOW FULL FOCUS ON SUNDAY"
After the final whistle of the TIM Cup Last 16, coach Gattuso spoke to Milan TV to comment on the team's performance and the Gigio Donnarumma situation.
DONNARUMMA
"I got to know Gigio over the past months, he has never skipped one training session. In addition to his qualities on the pitch, he is a great person too. I will always back him. He's not how some people depict him. His team-mates are backing him too, he's a very humble guy".
ON THE GAME
"I am pleased with the mentality and our performance today. We could have put the game to bed earlier, that's the only thing we could have done better and we have to work on this. We have to put this match behind us because Sunday it won't be the same".
INDIVIDUALS
"Bonucci, as well as the whole defensive line, is doing very well, Montolivo too is doing a great work as holding midfielder. The boys are showing all their dedication, but we need more. We need time but I see the players are following me and I like this. We are only at the beginning, there's a lot to do but I see great desire. Biglia? He's a top player who needs to be back at the peak of his form. He still isn't 100 percent fit, I hope he will be soon".
ATTACK
"Cutrone playing wider is certainly a solution. He has important qualities, he can play in different positions. I wish André Silva could have scored tonight".
