FOCUS ON NAPOLI VS INTER
* Napoli have won only one of their last nine Serie A meetings with Inter (D3 L5), a 4-1 victory in May 2019 under Carlo Ancelotti.
* Inter have found the net in each of their last seven Serie A games against Napoli, their longest such run in the competition against them since October 2000 (eight).
* Napoli are unbeaten in 14 of their last 15 Serie A home games against Inter in the 21st century (W9 D5), with their only defeat a 1-3 reverse in January 2020.
* Napoli have won their last four Serie A matches after having won only two of the previous nine (D3 L4) –they have also kept a clean sheet in three of these games, as many as in the previous 10 in the competition.
* Napoli have lost three of their last five Serie A home games (W2) – since December only Venezia (four) have lost more home games in the Italian top-flight.
* Inter lost their last Serie A game, losing against AC Milan, after a 14-match unbeaten run (W11 D3); they could lose two matches in a row for the first time since March 2020.
* Inter have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four Serie A away matches and have only kept five in a row four times previously in their history, doing so in 1951, 1966, 1971 and 1972.
* Fabián Ruiz has scored three goals against Inter for Napoli in all competitions, his most against a single opponent. He has been involved in eight league goals this term (five goals, three assists), only one away from his best tally in a single campaign (nine in 2019/20 and 2018/19).
* Lautaro Martínez has scored four Serie A goals against Napoli, only scoring more against Cagliari (six) in the competition; the Inter striker has, however, failed to score in his last five league matches, only have a longer run without a goal once previously Italian top-flight (seven in August 2019).
* After having scored seven goals in his first nine league games this season, Edin Dzeko has scored only twice in his last 13 appearances: the Inter striker has scored two braces against Napoli, both away from home, in 2016 and 2018, but hasn’t scored in his last seven appearances against Napoli.
