FIORENTINA AND KAPPA® UNVEIL THE NEW KOMBAT™ PRO 2023

Fiorentina and BasicNet have today unveiled the new Kappa® Kombat™ Pro 2023 home, away, and goalkeeper kits, which feature a design that offers continuity with the club's rebranding and that brings out the best in the new PRO KOMBAT™ kits and their technical capabilities.

The home kit features concentric squares radiating from the club badge in alternating shades of purple, representing the wearer’s heartbeat and the passion they feel when representing the Viola.

As for the away kit, which is largely white, what first catches the eye is a large purple V emblazoned on the front. This shape echoes the club’s redesigned badge and is a clear nod to Fiorentina’s unmistakeably unique purple and the club’s loyal worldwide following.

The two goalkeeper kits, which are predominantly yellow or red but with touches of purple, feature a fleur-de-lis on the front of the shirt at waist height which represents the club’s manifesto within.

All of the shirts feature Play to be Different printed inside the collar - a call to arms for those who pull on the jersey, a timely reminder of the energy and commitment required when representing the club, as well as being an acknowledgement of Fiorentina’s pride of being a one-of-a-kind club.

There are also 13 fleur-de-lis designs printed into the collar. This is a tribute to the club’s fans, our 12th man, and Davide Astori, our unforgettable number 13, loved by his team-mates and by every Florentine.

As for technical specifications, the Kappa® Kombat™ Pro 2023 offers cutting-edge ultralight fabrics and stretch Nylon, ensuring maximum comfort and elasticity. The Hydroway Protection Technology ensures high breathability and effective release of body heat. Every detail has been conceived to avoid skin chafing.

For the 2022/23 season all of Fiorentina’s teams on-the-pitch clothing will be provided by Kappa® brand, while Robe di Kappa®, K-Way®, Superga®, Briko®, and Sebago® will take care of clothing and footwear worn off the pitch. The BasicNet Group products will also be worn by both the men’s and women’s Fiorentina youth teams.

The new shirts go on sale today at www.fiorentinastore.com and at all Fiorentina stores. The Fiorentina corner has also returned to the Rinascente Firenze store, which has been one of the club's official partners over the last four seasons. It is located in the historic location of Piazza della Repubblica and will stock the 2022/23 kits as well as offering name and number printing.
