DONADONI: "NOW WE HAVE TO GET OUR CLAWS OUT"
This was how Roberto Donadoni looked back on Roma-Bologna after the game:
“We started well and created some chances but we weren’t able to convert. We lost a lot of individual duels and Roma put us under difficulty with long balls for Salah and Perotti who are frightening once they get going at full speed. We also paid for some naivety, it’s not a result that makes us happy but it has to help us to develop and improve".
"We had a very young side out on the pitch, especially in defence and youngsters can suffer when you’re missing the players with personality who can be a reference point. Sadiq did lots of interesting things and he battled but he can and has to develop a lot more still. Now, we have to get our claws out for the upcoming games where we’ll be against sides around our level on paper”.
