DIAWARA: I CAN'T WAIT TO TRAIN WITH MY TEAMMATES AGAIN

On Tuesday morning midfielder Amadou Diawara spoke to Roma Radio, as individual training continued at Trigoria.

Here is what the midfielder had to say, as clubs in Italy eye a return to full team training at the start of next week.

How are things going?
“I'm going through this period with a bit of anxiety, as I think everyone is, but I've followed the rules - and I can't wait for everything to be allowed again."

Have you seen what Roma Cares has been doing during this period?
“The club has been part of some brilliant initiatives - that's what big clubs should be doing, I think. Football is the biggest sport in the world and it's right that it makes a contribution to society as well."

What does it mean to return to Trigoria? How do you feel?
“I feel good. I really couldn't wait to get back on the pitch, to see my teammates again - even if right now we still have to maintain our distance."

What did you miss most about it?
“Seeing my teammates. We are used to hanging out every day, and it's normal that you start to develop close bonds. Not being able to see them beyond a few moments every few days is tough."
