ANCELOTTI: "JUVENTUS CLASH WILL SHOW US WHERE WE STAND"

The Azzurri coach Carlo Ancelotti spoke in his pre-match press conference on the eve of Juvnetus-Napoli, Matchweek 2 of the 2019/2020 Serie A TIM.

It will give us a good idea of where we stand. We're playing the Scudetto favourites and we know how good Juventus are, but we feel confident. I have a quality squad that's been further strengthened during the transfer window. We're working well. I'm happy with how the summer has gone and tomorrow we'll see on the pitch whether we can live up to expectations.”

On tomorrow's match: "I want a competitive team that sets out to play their own brand of football. We have to be on the ball both going forward and defensively – and in that sense I expect to see an improvement on last week's game in Florence. The result won't be decisive but it's very important because this is a huge match. We'll play it with character and the desire to express our potential.”

On Hirving Lozano: "Lozano is doing fine. He's settling in well and getting to grips with our tactics. He could feature tomorrow – we'll see. In games like this, it's not just about the 11 starters but the substitutes too.”

On Arkadiusz Milik: "Arek is completing his recovery. He won't be involved tomorrow but we hope to have him back to his best after the international break.

On Napoli's transfer business: "As I said, I'm happy with what we've done so far. There are a few days left and we may do a bit more business. I'm very pleased.

On the Champions League draw: "We've definitely got an easier group than last year but we'll still be up against top-class opponents. Liverpool are the European champions, then there are Salzburg and Genk, two young, pacy sides. We must be very wary.
