ALLEGRI: "WE PLAYED SOME GOOD STUFF"

A positive result and performance for the Bianconeri had their manager satisfied with a job well done following Saturday’s 2-0 home win over Atalanta. Speaking after the final whistle, Massimiliano Allegri began:

“The boys have put in a strong display, we’ve kept another clean sheet and created plenty of goalscoring opportunities while playing some very good football at times. My only criticism would be that towards the end, when they were down to ten men, we should have kept possession ticking over better and save energy.”

"Dybala? I liked Paulo’s positional sense and also Pereyra’s when he was on the pitch. It was different for him (Dybala) at Palermo, where he was a leader and played as a centre-forward. Here he needs to adapt to a different position and get used to the physical aspects of the game. I believe in what I do and I’ve always been one to get the best out of young players from my time at Cagliari right through to the present day at Juventus.”
