AC MILAN V ARSENAL: REACTIONS FROM SAN SIRO

Rino Gattuso showed his disappointment after the negative result but assured that the tie against Arsenal is not over yet:

"We will focus on Genoa now, and then we will think on how to turn this tie around. In football, you should never say never. We will go to London and we will give it our best shot. We are AC Milan and we have to respect this jersey. Tonight we could have scored. This tie is not over and although it will be difficult, we will try to do much better".

The Red and Black captain, Leonardo Bonucci, also spoke to the media following the defeat against the North London side:

"It will be difficult, but everything is possible in football. We didn't defend and attack as a team, we were too close to each other when passing the ball around. We also have to give credit to Arsenal, they managed the match well. If we play in London with the same spirit we showed in the second half, we might be able to pull it off".

The other centre-back Alessio Romagnoli also shared his brief view on the match:

"We started well but certain plays favoured them. We conceded two silly goals and end up with a negative result in the first leg as a consequence. We will try our best on the return match, we have nothing to lose".
